As a young person, about the age of five, it was very strange and difficult for Christopher to distinguish between the many realities that psychic kids experience. It was odd that other people were not feeling and reacting to the things he saw and felt, and it was natural for him to be in tune with other realities and dimensions from very early on. He recalls a telling incident, while left with a babysitter, in which he could read his father’s emotions. He started to research his gifts, but books were no help, because his built-in lie detector would tell him that the authors were misguided, and he found the information was often misleading. At this time, he also began to astral travel consciously throughout his house, with the help of Guides. Though It felt entirely natural and comfortable, he could find no information to help him understand it. Back then, (about 1984) metaphysical literature was largely guesswork and most of the spiritual information was church related and fear based, or designed to control people. So, he dismissed it, shut it off, and tried to live a “normal” life. As a very young child, Kathryn was extremely sensitive to everyone, and remembers beautiful beings from other realms continually surrounding her. Qualifications
From an early age, her psychic senses would signal her when something was wrong or when someone was lying. There simply was no keeping a secret from Indigo. She was born into a family of clairvoyant women who were all unusually gifted at seeing the unseen. Her abilities gave her the curiosity to study numerology and reflexology when she was only twelve, with the encouragement of her stepfather who helped her to understand all about meridians. He taught her how they became blocked and gave her the techniques for unclogging them. From there, she studied Shaitsu reflexology and touch therapy by attending classes with her mother. Her mom indirectly introduced her to the world of astrology, in her early teens, a discipline that became a real fascination for her. She recalls playing a game where she’d listen to someone talk and she’d then name their sign. Most of the time, she found her guesses to be astonishingly accurate. At the age of thirty-five, she walked into a bookstore, searching for something to read and found herself buying her very first Tarot deck. She practiced on friends and family members and in time they had become as easy to read as a book. In her community, she was introduced to a group of people who studied hauntings and other metaphysical phenomena. As a member of this organization, she met a woman who helped her to understand herself through her previous incarnations and trauma she’d experienced. This was a tremendous breakthrough that helped her to eliminate the blocks she’d put in her own way and it opened the door to the next level of her psychic development. One day while performing a reading on a popular website, she was shown a picture, much like a snapshot, that she didn’t understand. However, when she relayed the message to her client, the meaning soon became clear. She found that the more she worked with these snapshots, the more they appeared in her readings. This new ability was soon incorporated into all her readings and it became an extremely effective tool with which to help others. Though she’s always listened to the inner voices of her guides, the pictures added a whole new dimension to the work. Briefly, she became involved with an online group called The AHS, where she learned about other religions, and studied the backgrounds of famous mediums and psychics. Indigo enjoys learning all she can about her craft and finds that her explorations open new pathways to helping others.
Experience
As a “tween,” she was already using her knowledge of numerology in addition to the gifts she was born with, to perform accurate readings. As a teenager, she studied astrology and some of the healing arts, such as Shiatsu, touch therapy, and reflexology, but she continues to incorporate new techniques that include simple yoga poses, meditation and deep breathing for stress release. Between the years 1998 and 2000, she worked as a phone psychic on a pay-per-minute line, which afforded her the opportunity to utilize a client’s time more efficiently, providing them with valuable information in a limited space of time. She’s run her own business as well, servicing as many as ten clients at a time over a ten year period. She’s been employed by some of the more prestigious and upscale websites, making the most of her time by refining her methods and expanding her abilities. With no mentors to show her the way, she has largely expanded her techniques through self learning and practice. She has devoted a great deal of her time finding runaway children, and has worked extensively with clients suffering from sexual abuse, bipolar disorder, abandonment issues, and PTSD. She has spent much of her life putting her considerable gifts to enormous good use and will continue to do so for as long as she’s able to serve.
Personal
She’s a Leo, with a Taurus ascendant and a Cancer moon. This means that while she can be quite stubborn when it comes to getting what she wants, or what she believes is right, she can also be quite empathetic and emotional, with the Cancer moon enhancing her psychic abilities. She’s been a practicing Wiccan for over twenty years which has enhanced every aspect of her personal and professional life. Three years ago, she moved to the base of the Oquirrh Mountains, just off the Great Salt Lake in Utah, where she lives with her husband Brent and their black cat, Johnny Depp, or “JD” for short. They are currently planning renovations on their home which was originally built in 1882. She enjoys spending as much time as possible with her five children, ten grandchildren, and of course, her husband. Her hobbies include: camping, cooking, online poker, playing Wii and DS games with her husband and grandchildren, reading anything she can get her hands on, watching crime/drama TV, especially documentaries, and enjoying all that the Harry Potter world has to offer. She’s been a realtor in her area for two years and loves helping a client to find just the right home.
