Qualifications
As far back as he could remember, Joshua observed halos and vibrant colors surrounding everyone. Growing up, he played with Tarot Decks, and learned from his mother, while also utilizing the extensive library of occult and new age material she introduced him to. He still uses Tarot today as his number one tool of choice, and on occasion will instruct interested clients on their proper use. Scrying, pendulums and crystal balls have also been part of his metaphysical arsenal, all of which he still continues to use when the occasion calls for it. He lists Edgar Cayce as an important inspiration for the type of psychic he wanted to become. Cayce was able to selflessly help so many, and Joshua wanted to do likewise, though he never believed it possible. Psychic gifts run on both sides of his family, though, oddly, he seems to be the only male with such a strong talent. Early on, he noticed abilities in his mother and with his aunts on his father’s side. He too exhibited an unusual talent to see auras, but by puberty, he’d switched his focus to other pursuits. He didn’t think his so-called “weird occurrences” in his childhood were strange or unusual, and had always understood what he was tapping into was more than just a kid’s wild imagination. His good guesses and natural intuitive leaps as a child, eventually grew into what became an astoundingly accurate psychic ability. With age, his talents have continued to grow and manifest with waves of discovery that have included bending flatware at restaurants and out of body experiences. Astral travel led him to dream interpretation and astral symbolism, the study of the unconscious mind’s need and method of cloaking and encoding important or relevant information. Joshua is a very giving individual, and has often conducted random readings for people he meets who have messages waiting for them. A natural progression from reader to teacher eventually occurred, whereby Joshua began to share his acquired knowledge and experiences with others. His outreach programs have helped many to understand the dreams and visions they’ve received through meditation. Joshua has applied this home-grown wisdom he’s gathered to his daily practice, and also shares his knowledge with four esteemed colleagues, all expert in the science of consciousness.
Experience
At sixteen, he recalls being labeled psychically gifted by another psychic, but it wasn’t until he was eighteen that he came to terms with its meaning. After college, this part of his life literally invaded everything he did. He couldn’t so much as design a website without conducting a reading for customers. Since he was twenty-one, he became a self employed Tarot reader at his home in Florida. His success came through word of mouth, and, as a result, he gained a long list of steady clients quickly. Sonia Choquette, a Phd of metaphysics, was and is a continuing source of guidance. He credits her with getting him out of his skeptic’s shell and away from all the excuses that prevented him from working at his true calling. Once he gave in, he was amazed at the vistas that began to open up for him, both professionally and spiritually. He tapped into a deep level of satisfaction that had never been glimpsed at before. Recently, readings have taken on deeper meanings as he works with a client’s energy during sessions. When he councils someone on the phone or in person, the issues that are most pressing (usually spiritual) arise, and the healing begins automatically as the energy begins to channel. Sometimes, he’ll refer clients to Chinese medicine, or other holistic medical resources if needed, and has enjoyed great success in watching their healing effects on clients. A move to Washington State, with its wide open spaces, proved challenging for his practice, in that direct contact with his clients became harder to achieve. He solved that problem by focusing his abilities online, and augmenting his on-line services with appearances at local fairs and events. He’s now able to easily keep in touch with clients who are spread out around the world.
Personal
Joshua has both his Sun and Moon in the psychic, healing sign of Cancer. He’s a longtime resident of Florida, but is currently appreciating the much dryer climate of Walla Walla Washington, where he’s lived for the past two years. The amber hills and mountains in this little valley are full of native american energy that resonate profoundly within him, since he has native american ancestry on both sides of the family tree, beneath a healthy Irish complexion. Along with the time he devotes to teaching and fixing software and hardware problems, and enabling technophobes to discover the beauty of a computer, he enjoys catering to his fiancée, and fixing her meals everyday, while working at home and taking care of the smartest cat in the universe. Weird stuff is still the central theme of his life. On a regular basis, he leads a steadily growing group that reaches altered states through meditation, and together they travel inwardly to exciting, unexplored places.
